Seven Snaps! 2/18/12 - 2/24/12

It's totally geeky, but yeah...I got shivers walking across this.

Kiwi Tart - a riff on this recipe by my friend Emily because the kiwis looked so good.
Santa Cruz Boardwalk
Vineyards in the off season
Barrels awaiting their wine.

Unbelievably good salted chocolate cookies from Molly Wizenberg.
This week got away from me a bit, so I admit that most of these photos are from a trip down to Santa Cruz and another up to Napa during a visit from Scott's mom. Those cookies though...man, I made those on Thursday for a lunch with some friends. The first half of the batch was nibbled by us and then divvied between my friends for later snacking. The second half is in my belly.

Seven Snaps! 2/11/12 - 2/17/12

Five birds, plus friends.

Almost snack time.

Friend me.

How the coast looks without my glasses.

Just checking in.

So long, Sun!

We're all waiting for rain.

Seven Snaps: 2/4/12 - 2/10/11

2/4/12 - Brunch at Camino Restaurant in Oakland. Go there, post haste.

2/5/12 - Grand Lake Theater in Oakland (Totally sneaking this one in even though it was shot the day before!)

2/6/7 - The Cats pose for the cover of their new emo album

2/7/12 - One orange.

2/8/12 - The heart of the squash

2/9/12 - Suburbia California

2/10/12 - Behind the blinds
Life has been busy lately: new work, frustrating brews (I'll master you yet, hard lemonade!), old friends coming to visit. Good, but busy. Finding time for some photo-snapping fun has been a challenge. Then again, it's also made a good excuse to grab my jacket and get out of the house, even if it's just to walk to the park a few blocks away. And on the days when time slips away, the cats, as always, provide endless photo inspiration.
